Someone should tell him

I went out with a couple of friends tonight. Shelly told Bree and I this story. She has this co-worker named Lucy. She (Lucy) has a boyfriend (Pat) who she has been dating for awhile now. After she had been there about a month she slept with her district manager in the conference room. Shelly confronted Lucy about it and all she said was, "it just sorta happened."

What? How does it just happen? At work. With someone you barely know. I can see it "just happening" at home on your couch while watching a movie in the dark but not at work. I'm guessing Lucy has some sort of attraction to authority figures at work.

So about a month after this, Pat asks Lucy's dad if he can marry her. He gives the okay. He asks Lucy and guess what she says?

"I have to ask my dad." What kind of an answer is that? I guess she did ask her dad because according to Shelly they are engaged now.

But that just makes me wonder about the situation at work. Shouldn't he be told that she cheated only if it is one time? I wouldn't want to marry a guy that cheated on me with someone he barely knew.

I have watched every season but the first one. I know this show is totally stupid but I really like it.

I'm just curious your thoughts on the people on the show and what they are doing this season.

My friend Katie

So I have this friend named Katie. We go to church together so I know that she believes in God and knows the Bible fairly well since she grew up in a Christian home.

I found out the other day from another friend at church that Katie has met a guy on the internet. Apparently this guy is divorced, has a kid, just got out of jail, and he doesn't believe in God. She thinks she loves this guy and she says he is really cute.

Ok so my question is why? Why would you even give this guy the time of day? People on the internet are not always honest. If he told her all of this, what is he hiding?

My guess is that she is afraid of never finding anyone. She is almost 30 and never really dated anyone. But why stoop so low. I just don't get it. I never lowered my standards.

This is my first blog so let me tell you a little about myself.

My husband has his blog on here. He goes by the name of Xian Husband. We have two children. Our son (Jr) is 7 and our daughter (Mini Me) is 4.

Jr is very much like his dad in a lot of ways but he is a good mix of both of us. You would almost think that Mini Me was cloned because she is exactly like me. In some ways it's good but I am not ready for the teenage years.


I am a Christian. I am very involved in our church. I teach the children and a women's class. I work at a Christian School so I am home for the summer.

I started a blog because I have a lot of stupid friends who claim to be Christians but they keep doing idiotic things that they know that they shouldn't be doing. I have talked to a few people about their issues but I don't seem to feel that I can totally speak my mind. I am hoping that I will speak it here.
